Meet Cara

Cara is an Athens native who loves how special our local community is and everything it has to offer. She was raised in a family deeply rooted in real estate—spanning roles from realtor to developer, appraiser, contractor, and architecture. Cara feels she was fortunate to be immersed in this dynamic industry from a young age. Over a decade ago, she transitioned into real estate full-time, and since then, she has had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients achieve their real estate goals.

Over the years Cara has worked closely with both homeowners and investors and is appreciative of the very different needs of each group. She began her career as a buyer’s agent with Keller Williams and the Woodall Realty group, where she was able to assist over 100 buyers with their home purchases. In 2017 she moved to a boutique Athens brokerage, where she transitioned into a role of assisting sellers and buyers with all of their real estate needs. Cara has worked hard to build relationships with investors who continue to trust her with their current and future real estate ventures. She has been able to assist them with finding income producing properties that are smart fits for their portfolios. Cara is a skilled negotiator, and is knowledgeable of returns, 1031 Tax Free Exchanges and cap rates. Cara has an astute understanding of the importance of communication and how vital it is in all stages of the home buying and selling process. Cara is a proud mother, wife and animal lover. When she isn’t working you can typically find her working in her yard, cooking with her husband, cheering on her daughter at volleyball games, or cuddling with her beloved fur babies. She has four kids: one in high school, and three in colleges around the state of Georgia. Cara enjoys balancing her busy family life with her passions for real estate, interior design and gardening.
